What's In A Name?

I have naming phobia.  Is that a real thing?  Wikipedia yielded nothing, but they did mention the list of phobias is incomplete.  Anyone know if this is real?

Ask my husband, he'll confirm this aversion I have to naming things.  Just mention naming our two sons--not that naming a blog is like naming your own progeny.  If I remember it correctly though, I'm the one that actually thought of both of their names.  I just have a really hard time finalizing them.  Meaning, the nurses call our room several times a day wanting to know if we've picked a name, reminding us that we have to have one before we can leave...  

I remember purposefully not naming things as a child, except for being convinced our family dog should be named Spot.  Everyone voted me down.  Maybe that solidified my naming phobia?    

I actually have to credit Dan with giving me the idea for this blog's name.  He's more of the creative naming type in our family.  

So, what's in a name?  Not much in this case.  I've wanted to start a blog for a while now, but did not want to use our last name in it.  So, I tried to think of something fun and random instead.  Hence, "My Tin Can Telephone."  Think of this blog as my way of picking up an old tin can telephone to talk with my family and friends.
